During the first years of its work “The Governorate Ballet School” College was organized as a structural division of the Autonomous Non-commercial Organization National Ballet “Kostroma". A lot of effort and means have been put in to develop the College. The administration invited high profile teachers to hold master classes, introduced new disciplines which enhanced students’ training and education level. In November 2006 the College became an independent legal entity. They changed the Charter, expanded the staff schedule, transferred material assets for balance and the College started to be called Non-state Educational Institution of the Secondary Vocational Education “The Governorate Ballet School” College affiliated with the National Ballet “Kostroma”. The College had to become a juridical person to go through the attestation and accreditation procedures.
