From 17 to 21 of February the unique master-classes on dances of people of Tuva, Buryatia and Kalmykia were held in Kostroma. The third-year students of the choreographic college “The Governorate Ballet School” had a chance to try an unusual way of appearance of the asian nomads. Mengilen Sat, the guest of the ballet and college, the ballet master of Tuva State ensemble of the song and dance “Sayany” gave the unique master-classes. more

On February, 20th the new creative project "The Governorate Ballet School” opens its doors…" was started within the program of the development of the professional choreographic art in Kostroma Region. The leaders and the teachers of the children choreographic groups of Kostroma became the participants of this project. For 10 years the students of “The Governorate Ballet School” have been full participants of solo concerts of “Kostroma” Ballet which take place annually on the 29th of April, on the International day of Dance. more

The main target of the dance school "The Governorate Ballet School” is to train young, strong and skilled generations of dancers for “The Russian National Ballet “Kostroma” by combining traditional and experimental educational methods, by instilling patriotism and awakening the feeling of love towards Russian history and culture.
