15.03.2006 The first Festival and the first success

The Third International Festival of Dance Schools and Colleges was held in Kazan, the Tatarstan Republic, Russia from the 11th to the 13th of March 2006. We are pleased to inform that the fourth year students of "The Governorate Ballet School" (College) affiliated with the National Ballet Kostromaâ took part in it. The program of performance included two dances “Flotsky", staged by the Honoured Art Worker of the Russian Federation, Honoured Culture Worker of the Russian Federation, professor G. Y. Vlasenko, and “Celabratory”, staged by the Honoured Art Worker of the Russian Federation Y. V. Tsarenko.

 

 

 

The delegations from such educational institutions as “The School and the Studio" (Collge) affiliated with the State Academic Company of Folk Dance under direction of Igor Moiseev, Moscow Dance College, Colleges from Kazan, Krasnoyarsk, Voronezh, Krasnodar, Yakutsk, Academy named after Natalia Nesterova and many others. There also were such high profile teachers of classic dance and folk stage dance disciplines as Marina Konstantinovna Leonova, Aleksandr Ivanovich Bondarenko, Guzel Mahmudovna Apanaeva and some others.

 

 

The performance of the students of our Colleges was highly evaluated by the expert teachers and guests of the Festival. To share their experience G. M. Apanayeva (“The School and the Studio" College affiliated with the State Academic Company of Folk Dance under direction of Igor Moiseev) and A. I. Bondarenko (“Moscow State Dance College") gave master classes for folk stage and classic dance disciplines.

The main target of the dance school "The Governorate Ballet School” is to train young, strong and skilled generations of dancers for “The Russian National Ballet “Kostroma” by combining traditional and experimental educational methods, by instilling patriotism and awakening the feeling of love towards Russian history and culture.
