17.01.2007 Dance College held master classes of the leading Russian specialists in choreography.

During the years 2002 - 2007 the College managed to create a system of organizing master classes for students held by the leading specialists of Russia in the sphere of choreography in such disciplines as classic dance, folk stage dance, folk academic dance, acting skills, make-up, fencing, history of the theatre, music and choreography, as well as duet dance, historical dance, etc.

This educational scheme based on regular master classes is a necessary component of professional artists of folk dance training since it allows to attract the best masters of choreography dance in Russia.

Every year the best choreographers of Russia hold master classes in the College:

Natalia Nikolayevna Voskresenskaya – Honoured Artist of Russian, the coach of the Kremlin Ballet, a ballet master and a restorer, a teacher, a ballet historian and a ballet critic.

She graduated from the Moscow Dance College affiliated with the Bolsjoi Theatre class of E. Gerdt and S. Messerer. Following the invitation of Burmeister M. Lavrovsky she danced for 21 years in the Musical Theatre named after K. Stanislavsky and V. Nemirovich-Danchenko. She graduated from the State Institute of Theatre Art named after Lunacharsky from the teachers’ training department trained as a specialist in ballet direction. She worked for the magazine “Ballet” for many years (historical topics and creative activities). She records dances with the help of Rudolf von Laben's system and this is her special merit. She worked in the Kremlin Ballet from its first day as a coach and cooperated with famous masters E. Maksimova, V. Vasilyev and others. She founded a ballet school in Argentina in the city of Rosario.

In Japan together with the Tokyo group “NBA Japan” she restored such old ballets and pieces as “The Dance of the Hours” from “La Gioconda” by A. Ponchielli, «Waltz of Snow Flakes” from “The Nutcracker” (staged by Ivanov), the Second Act from the ballet “Humpbacked horse” the scene of Tsar Maiden’s abduction (staged by Arthur Saint-Léon, music by Cesare Pugni), “The Grandeur of the Universe” (symphony dance to the music of Beethoven’s Sixth symphony, staged by F. Lopuhov).

In Russia her main activity is to teach and stage, for example "Cinderella" (staged by V. Vasilyeva) in the Voronezh Theatre of Opera and Ballet.

She has been the leading teacher of classic and duet stage dance in "The Governorate Ballet School” (college) since its first days.

Nina Ivanovna Furaleva – Honoured Artist of the RSFSR, the leading teacher of classic and folk academic dance in Novosibirsk Dance College.

Her repertoire includes such character and classic parts as San Shemu in the ballet “Precious Torch of Lotus”, fairy Karaboss in the ballet "Sleeping Beauty”, the Girl in the ballet “Leningrad Poem”, Teresa in the ballet “The Flame of Paris”, the Witch in the ballet “La Sylphide”, Theresa in the ballet “Bivouac of Cavalry” and the soloist of the ballet “Bolero”, the Young Gypsy in the ballet “The Stone Flower”, Pastora in “Spanish Miniatures” and many others. In 1980 she graduated from the ballet master department of the GITIS Academy. Since 1983 she has been working as a coach of Novosibirsk Theatre of Opera and Ballet. In 2005 she celebrated the 50th anniversary of her artistic career.

Nikolai Fedorovich Laktionov - the Laureate of the State Prize of the USSR, Honoured Art Worker of the Russian Federation, the Laureate of the State Prize of the Mongol Republic, Cavalier of Ëàêòèîíîâ Íèêîëàé Ôåäîðîâè÷ - ëàóðåàò ãîñóäàðñòâåííîé ïðåìèè ÑÑÑÐ, çàñëóæåííûé äåÿòåëü èñêóññòâ ÐÔ, ëàóðåàò ãîñóäàðñòâåííîé ïðåìèè Ìîíãîëüñêîé ðåñïóáëèêè, Companion of Honour, the leading teacher of the College (acting skills).

Maksim Viktorovich Vasilyev graduated from Moscow Academic Dance College and after that worked as a ballet artist of the Musical Theatre named after K. Stanislavsky and V. Nemirovich-Danchenko. He was a leading ballet artist in the Kremlin Ballet. His repertoire includes parts of Ratmir, Farlaf from the ballet “Ruslan and Ludmila”, Rodbardt from the “Swan Lake”, Toreodor Espada from the ballet “Don Quixote”, Hlestakov from the ballet “The Inspector General”, step mother from the ballet “Cinderella”, fairy Karaboss from the ballet “Sleeping Beauty”, Signor Capulet from the ballet “Romeo and Juliet”, Harlequin and Puppets from the ballet “Nut Cracker” and many others. He also worked in Cape Town in South Africa in "The Cape Town City Company”. He started working as a teacher in Argentina in the city of Rosario. He had a chance to work with such great artists as Y. Grigorovich, Bryantsev, V. Vasilyev, A. Petrov. He was in Japan to work on the restoration of old Russian ballets. He was a coach of the “Russian Bational Ballet” Company. He staged some performances in Yakutia Dance College including the ballet “Raymonda" for the music of S. V. Glazunov. Together with S. V. Vasilyev he re-edited the ballet "Cinderella” in 2006 in Voronezh Theatre of Opera and Ballet.

Evgenia Dmitrievna Koptelova – Honoured Art Worker of the Russian Federation, the leading specialist of the Ministry of Culture, the teacher of “History of Art in Russia and Other Countries" discipline (history of theatre and ballet).

While getting ready for the graduation of the first class of students “The Governorate Ballet School” (College) affiliated with the National Ballet “Kostroma" is getting ready to have its attestation with the following state accreditation. The Administration, the College Council and the Founder do not doubt the high level of the graduates' training in theoretical subjects as well as in professional disciplines. There have been worked out three original programs, a lot of methodical projects and procedures; the College can also be proud of its teaching experience. The students are taught to love their Motherland and Russian traditional art of dance. Considering the fact that it is very hard to find specialized literature the College has managed to collect in five years quite a large library of books on special disciplines, memoirs and fiction. It is also subscribed for topical newspapers and magazines which are easily accessible for the students. "The Governorate Ballet School" (College) affiliated to the National Ballet Kostroma is planning to show the students' diploma project performance on the 29th of April 2007. The concert is going to take place in the Concert and Exhibition Center “Gubernsky”; it is intended to coincide with the International Day of Dance.

The concert program includes practically all the special disciplines taught in the College, that is classic dance, folk stage dance, professional practice, acting skills, fencing, academic folk dance, historical dance, basics of playing a musical instrument and so on. The second year students and the students of the “Children Dance School” (the second ballet class and the junior group) are going to participate in the concert.

The purpose of the concert is not just to show to those whishing to see what the College can do but it is also the final stage of the attestation when the committee can get the general idea about the College performance.

The main target of the dance school "The Governorate Ballet School” is to train young, strong and skilled generations of dancers for “The Russian National Ballet “Kostroma” by combining traditional and experimental educational methods, by instilling patriotism and awakening the feeling of love towards Russian history and culture.
