30.05-1The performance “The art of dance” took place within the educational project “The Governorate Ballet School” opens its doors…” on the 29th of May. This project was organized by “The Governorate Ballet School” and the Department of Education of Kostroma for all directors, teachers, parents and 6-year pupils of 32 schools of Kostroma.

The performance “The world of dance” is one of the most important practical parts of the broad activities of the project “The Governorate Ballet School” opens its doors...”. The first program of the project took place on the 20th of February 2013. The leaders and teachers of children dance ensembles of Kostroma became the participants of this event. Within the first meeting there were the preview of the final exam of the stage-folk dance, “the round table meeting” (the conversation with the college administration and the professor, ballet master, teacher, the honored artist of RSFSR, the ex-soloist of Igor Moiseev Dance Ensemble – A. Borzov) and the master class with A. Borzov. The performance “the world dance” plunged the audience in the beautiful music, made it get acquainted with the culture of people of different nationalities, admire the costumes, character and temperament of its heroes. The diploma performance demonstrated the secrets of the preparation of the dancers of “The Governorate Ballet School”, gave a chance to take a closer look at the daily five-year long work.

 

 

The main target of the dance school "The Governorate Ballet School” is to train young, strong and skilled generations of dancers for “The Russian National Ballet “Kostroma” by combining traditional and experimental educational methods, by instilling patriotism and awakening the feeling of love towards Russian history and culture.
