28.10.2011 “The Governorate Ballet School” holds seminars.

On the 28th of October the 1st and the 4th year college students took part in the open lessons in “classic dance” discipline.

The teacher: Natalia Nikolayevna Voskresenskaya, an Honoured Artist of Russia, a ballet master and a restorer, a ballet historian and a critic, the President of the International Charity Fund of Restoration, Preservation and Development of the Classic Ballet Art named after Marius Petipa.

The 1st ballet class of the Dance School for Children had an open lesson in “historical and common dance” discipline.

The teacher: Larissa Anatolyevna Volynskaya, a highest category teacher.

On the 28th of October the 1st and the 4th year college students took part in the open lessons in “folk and stage dance” discipline

The teacher: Aleksei Michhailovich Rubtsov, a highest category teacher, a soloist and a repertoire tutor of the Russian National Ballet “Kostroma”.

The 1st ballet class of the Dance School for Children had an open lesson in “basics of classic dance” discipline.

The teacher: Larissa Anatolyevna Volynskaya, a highest category teacher.

20 choreography teachers came as guests to the seminar from municipal educational establishments of supplementary education of Kostroma and 12 towns and villages of Kostroma region. Those were teachers from Municipal Educational Establishment of Supplementary Education of Kostroma No 2, Educational State Establishment of Culture “Concert and Exhibition Hall Gubernsky”, Municipal Educational Establishments of Supplementary Education of Soligalich municipal region, Zarubino, Suhonogovo, Susanino, Chistye Bory, Ostrovskoye, Kosmynino, Volgorechensk, Manturovo, Pavino, Galich as well as from State Educational Establishment “Regional Educational and Methodology Center”.

The seminar being over, the participants went to a conference where they had an opportunity to dicuss some professional issues concerning the work with a concert master and the teaching methods with the teachers of “The Governorate Ballet School” college. They also saw and talked about the film called “Come Back of Marius Petipa” co-authored by Natalia Nikolayevna Voskresenskaya, the college teacher of “classic dance” and “duet and stage dance” disciplines. 

The main target of the dance school "The Governorate Ballet School” is to train young, strong and skilled generations of dancers for “The Russian National Ballet “Kostroma” by combining traditional and experimental educational methods, by instilling patriotism and awakening the feeling of love towards Russian history and culture.
