The premier of a sage performance of “The Russian National Ballet “Kostroma” dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Second World War of 1941 -1945 called “Home with Victory!" has taken place in Kostroma Concert and Exhibition Centre “Gubernsky”.

The performance was staged with the Kostroma Region Administration support.
Honoured guests of the performance are veterans, Kostroma region Governor Igor Nikolayevich Slunyayev and the President of Almaz Holding Company Flun Fagimovich Gumerov.
“Home with Victory!" is a stage performance about an incredible strength of the Russian people, their belief, hope and love from the day when the War began up to the day when it victoriously ended. It is a large scale performance about the Great Victory.
The summer of 1941 is a spread out performance which simultaneously takes place in the hall, on stage and in the audience hall captured the heroes of the day with its fabulous atmosphere.
The synergy of live music, dramatic acting, large scale decorations and the up to date equipment reconstructed an integrated picture of civil life and life at war.
Colossal scenery decorations were specially made for the show in the workshops of Mikhailovsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg; those were exact replicas of objects of the day: a heated freight car, a thirty-hundred-weight lorry, guns (automatic guns - Shpagin submachine gun, and machine guns), a panoramic scenery of a blossoming park in May and a breaking window, hundreds of costumes and property items. Laser animation and parallel video projection of war documentaries from the places of real events of the Second World War (from the Mosfilm achieve) were also used. A multifunctional podium was made to expand the space.
The main character parts were acted by the artists of “The Russian National Ballet “Kostroma”, Anastasia Smirnova, a fifth-year student of “The Governorate Ballet School” college, and Dmitri Komlev, a 2007 graduate of “The Governorate Ballet School”.
